Llanbedrog

Tal Y Fan is crouched between the harbour town of Abersoch and the small village of Llanbedrog. Llanbedrog is tucked away on the south side of the Llŷn Peninsula just 4 miles from Pwhelli. It is a mere 3 miles from Llanbedrog to Aberoch - a pleasant seaside walk. At Llanbedrog you will find a handful of shops, pubs and restaurants and a stunning beach. If you are looking for things to do consider a visit to the grand old mansion of Plas Glyn y Weddw, built in 1857. Spend a day lost in the woodlands, gaze in awe at the art gallery, and munch away in the cafe. And for the grand finale, a summer show at the open-air theatre could be just the ticket!

Thanks to the National Trust’s care, it’s pristine and there’s a handy car park just across from Plas Glyn y Weddw. Feeling peckish? Give the Llanbedrog Aqua Beach Bar a whirl. They serve up tasty treats, paired with a refreshing glass of wine and all with a side of views.
