Haulfryn Group Social Media Etiquette Policy
Across its UK parks and Group activities, Haulfryn runs a number of closed owner social media groups and a number of open social media pages.
We do this to provide information about of all of our parks and their facilities, and about our company activities and opportunities. We aim to encourage a two-way flow of conversation and communication with our owners, guests, surrounding community members, team members, suppliers and followers.
To ensure an open, yet appropriate, tone and lines of conversation on our channels, we politely and respectfully ask that everyone commenting on any of our posts, pages or platforms retain a respectful and kind attitude at all times. We do not tolerate intimidating or bullying behaviour towards our Haulfryn team members offline, so we will not tolerate it online.
We are aware that there are times when people may have a strong opinion about one of our Haulfryn locations or an experience there. If people wish to make those opinions known, or to make a complaint, we ask that they do so using the appropriate, and most effective channels. If a follower does use intimidating, rude, threatening or disrespectful language or associated behaviours, or if they post or comment with misinformed or incorrect information, or if they make inappropriate personal comments about any of our team members, we will respond by referring them to this Policy and its location on our website.
We will then politely ask them to edit or remove their comments, and to follow the requested procedures for this type of communication.
If they do not edit or remove their comments, or if they do not follow the appropriate requested route when making a complaint or when voicing a strong personal opinion, we will then hide their comments or posts, as is within our rights.
If a person persistently or repeatedly acts or comments inappropriately, all essentially in violation of this Policy, we retain our rights to block them from our pages and platforms.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding of this Policy which allows us to continue to use these Haulfryn platforms for beneficial, positive and proactive communications.
