Owner perspective: A Devon base to enjoy together

We are delighted with our new lodge and found the whole buying process to be painless. We love the location of Devon Hills Park as it has so much of Devon on its doorstep. The staff are always friendly and helpful and we are still pinching ourselves that we own our beautiful lodge here.

We live in the Midlands so we are a long way from the sea, and this is why we initially invested in lodge ownership. We, and our children with their partners, have benefited from several free holidays a year in this lovely part of the country and from the leisure facilities on site. Is Devon Hills open all year for owners?

Devon Hills is open all year, so owners can use their holiday home across the seasons. Full-time residency is not permitted, so you will need to provide proof of your main residential address before your purchase is completed. Before you buy, the ownership team will explain any licence conditions and holiday-use rules, annual pitch fees, running costs, and all the practical details you need to know when considering your holiday home.

What facilities can Devon Hills owners use?

Devon Hills owners can enjoy a wide range of park facilities, including the indoor swimming pool, gym and fitness centre, sauna and steam room, The Hive Cafe, shop, adventure play park, activity programme, lake and picnic area. The ownership team can explain any current owner benefits before you buy.

Where is Devon Hills Holiday Park?

Devon Hills Holiday Park is on Totnes Road in Paignton, close to the English Riviera and around two miles from Paignton. Torquay, Brixham, local beaches and South Devon days out are all within easy reach.

Devon Hills offers a range of preloved and brand new entry level static caravans and holiday homes as well as luxury lodges for sale. Depending on availability, Devon Hills can offer two, three and sometimes four bedroom options, with decking, hot tubs or countryside views.

Can I sublet my holiday home at Devon Hills?

Yes. Owners can choose to rent out their caravan, holiday home or lodge when they are not using it via Haulfryn's managed sublet scheme. Many owners find subletting a useful way to earn income, which they use towards helping to offset some running costs.
