It’s our new promise designed to give you complete peace of mind when choosing your new lifestyle and purchasing a holiday home with us.
We know that this lifestyle sells itself. From peaceful morning walks to fun-filled weekends with the family, we’re confident you’ll fall in love with holiday home ownership.
But we also know buying a holiday home is a big commitment, so we’re removing the pressure and putting the power in your hands.

As a new customer, when you buy a holiday home with Haulfryn, you’ll have one month to fully settle in and experience the lifestyle.

1 – One month live it and love it guarantee
1.1 If you are buying your first holiday caravan or lodge from us, welcome to our community of owners! We think you’ll love the experience. However, this guarantee gives you one month to change your mind.
2 – You are eligible for our guarantee if
2.2 You purchased from us a new or pre-owned holiday caravan or lodge.
2.3 You are a New Owner. This means that neither you nor any member of your Family[1] owns or part-owns another holiday caravan or lodge on a Haulfryn park or has ever done so.
3 – You are not eligible if
3.1 You purchased your holiday caravan or lodge from anybody else, such as a current owner on one of our parks.
3.2 You are not a New Owner.
4 – If you have finance
4.1 If you used finance to purchase your holiday caravan or lodge, we strongly advise you to check the terms of cancellation before you use this guarantee. It is essential to understand whether you may have to make any further payments. In some circumstances, we may need to make the guaranteed payment to your lender rather than to you.
4.2 We promise to cooperate with any lender if they ask us for reasonable information about your use of this guarantee.
5 – How to activate the guarantee
5.1 No later than 30 days from the date on which your licence agreement starts, we must receive from you notice in writing that you wish to cancel your purchase. If you used finance to purchase your holiday caravan or lodge, then you must also tell us the name of the finance company, their contact address and your account number.
5.2 You must send this notice to us at the address or email address stated on your purchase and licence agreement. You must send it yourself. We will not accept notice sent on your behalf by any third party including a member of your Family.
5.3 We will confirm receipt of your written notice promptly and inform you of the date of receipt.
5.4 We will contact any finance company promptly to obtain from them confirmation whether any payment under the guarantee must be made by us to them rather than to you, and the amount of that payment.
5.5 Within two weeks of us receiving your written notice, you must then return the keys and any other property of ours to us and collect any personal items of yours from your holiday caravan or lodge. As long as you complete these subsequent responsibilities fully and in time, the date on which you complete them will be the Guarantee Activation Date.
5.6 You are responsible for making sure that we receive the notice, for returning our keys and property and for collecting your personal items. If we do not receive the notice in time for any reason, or if you then fail to carry out any of your subsequent obligations fully and in time, then you will not have activated the guarantee.
6 – If you activate the guarantee
6.1 We will issue a refund. Subject to the paragraphs below, this will be a refund of everything which you have paid to us for purchasing your holiday caravan or lodge, including under the licence agreement for your pitch, such as pitch fees.
6.2 We will not refund anything which you have paid to use our facilities or for goods or services which you have purchased during your ownership. We will also not refund any money which you have paid to a third party such as a lender, insurer or finance company.
6.3 We will make deductions for:
6.3.1 Any damage, breakage and losses. This will be the higher of the cost of repairing any damage and replacing any breakage or loss, or the reduction in the value of the holiday caravan or lodge which they cause. Deductions may be made in respect of the holiday caravan and its contents, any extras or accessories and/or the pitch.
6.3.2 A reasonable charge for siting and connection, if we expect to move the holiday caravan or lodge from its pitch. If a contractor carried out this work for us, then we will recharge their fee. If we carried it out, then we will obtain estimates from two experienced contractors and charge you the amount of the lower estimate.
6.4 If you used finance to purchase your holiday caravan or lodge, then we will only make the refund when we have confirmation from the finance company about whether any part of that payment must be paid to the finance company. Subject to this, we will make the refund within 14 days of the Guarantee Activation Date.
6.5 Neither you nor any member of your Family will have the right to buy another holiday caravan or lodge from us. We would need to understand fully your reasons for using this guarantee before agreeing to any subsequent sale.
7 – Nobody else has any rights under this guarantee
7.1 This guarantee is between you and us. If you sell your holiday caravan or lodge or give it away, then the new owner may not use this guarantee.
8 – Your statutory rights
8.1 Your statutory rights are not affected by this guarantee.
9 – Disputes about this guarantee
9.1 You have several options:
9.1.1 You may use our complaints procedure.
9.1.2 We may agree with each other to use alternative dispute resolution. Alternative dispute resolution is an optional process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court. If we cannot resolve a complaint, then we will give you information about an alternative dispute resolution body and tell you whether we are prepared to use it.
9.1.3 You can go to court. This guarantee is governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.
10 – Who we are
10.1 If you have purchased a holiday caravan or lodge at Delamere Lake Sailing and Holiday Park, The Warren Resort & Spa, Tal Y Fan Holiday Park or Crugan Holiday Park then this guarantee is issued to you by Haulfryn Limited
10.2 If you have purchased a holiday caravan or lodge at any of our other parks, then this guarantee is issued to you by Haulfryn Group Limited.
10.3 The address of all companies is Clarion House, Norreys Drive, Maidenhead, Berkshire, England, SL6 4FL.
