In the local area

Devon Hills Holiday Park is smack-bang, in the middle of the main areas of the English Riviera. The vibrant seaside town of Paignton is a mere two miles away. The ritzy marina of Torquay is a 25-minute car ride away. And let’s not forget the quaint harbour town of Brixham, a brief 20-minute drive will get you there. You could be taking a turn on Paignton pier and scooping up hot, battered fish and chips on the seafront.

Time to wander

Sip a cocktail at Torquay marina, watching the yachts go by. Or if you want a bit of historic character, get lost in the winding streets of Brixham harbour, stopping for an ice cream treat along the way.

The English Riviera

Gifts you with a bounty of choice, which will make every stay with us a new discovery. Picture yourself walking along unique red-sand stretches, exploring bustling seafronts brimming with fun, or discovering tucked-away coves. For water babes the South Devon coast is a dream come true with shallow, clear waters which are safe for swimming.

Breakwater beach

We love the crunchy, pebbly shores which makes for a lovely short walk from Brixham harbour and a fantastic stop to enjoy a mouth-watering crab sandwich. Venture just 10 minutes further and you will be treated to the chance to swim in the Victorian style lido: Shoalstone Seawater Pool.

Broadsands beach

We also recommend Broadsands Beach which is backed by rolling hills for a sense of being “away from it all”. The curved Bay is fringed with a level walkway which is beautiful for a peaceful sunrise stroll admiring the pretty beach huts bathed in morning sun.
