Abersoch pubs

The drinks scene in Abersoch is mainly bars and restaurants. If it is the classic pub atmosphere that you are looking for then try The Vaynol. The beer garden is a sneaky little hideaway. For old school charm make the trip to The Sun Inn in Llanengan which has been pouring pints since 1850!

Abersoch for kids

Abersoch is where screens are swapped for outdoor fun. With 100 miles of coastline there's enough sandy fun to fill up the summer holidays. Our beaches are great for your little sandcastle artisans, aspiring surf champions and for those eager to commandeer their own sailboat. A day out at Glasfryn Park or Funland in Pwlheli guarantees giggles galore, come rain or shine.

Walking

Embark on the Abersoch to Porth Cerilad adventure - a 5-mile loop of delight. It takes you round the Morfa Gors Beach, a long, curved bay adorned with quirky beach huts of wood and tin. Alternatively hop onto the Abersoch to Llanbedrog trail. The sheltered sandy shores of Llanbedrog, a National Trust owned beauty is lined with colourful beach huts.

Criccieth Castle

Perched proudly on a rocky headland with views that stretch for miles, Criccieth Castle is the ultimate mix of history, drama, and salty sea air!
